The site has basement pages for three towns and Exeter, one of the busiest markets on the Seacoast, was not among them. Compare Dover homes with a basement, create a free account to save this search and receive new listing alerts, or call Great Island Realty at 603-433-3350 for local guidance.
Exeter sits where the Squamscott turns tidal, and the ground rises away from it on both sides, which is why so much of the town is built over a basement. The older houses near Front Street, Water Street and the academy have stone or brick cellars used for utilities and storage. The subdivisions built from the nineteen sixties onward out toward Epping and Brentwood have full poured basements, and a large share of those have been finished at some point. Great Island Realty can tell you which is which.
