Film lovers have something to look forward to this weekend when Telluride by the Sea Film Festival arrives in town! Now in its 16th year, The Music Hall's historic theatre at 28 Chestnut Street will host this year's event. Six films that have recently debuted at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado will be shown over the course of three days.

Movies aren't the only events in Portsmouth this weekend in connection with Telluride by the Sea. The fabulous dining scene in Portsmouth plays a role (get it?!) as well with a Patron Passholder brunch Sunday afternoon at The District and a wrap party at the Portsmouth Brewery.

Ok, we know it's not quite Halloween yet, but how cool is this?

Every Saturday this summer, Fort Constitution and Portsmouth Harbour Lighthouse are host properties to a Haunted Lighthouse and Fort Tour. Ron Kolek, an author and radio personality and Jeremy D'Entremont, an author and lighthouse historian will guide you on a walking tour through these two sites. Ron will talk about different investigation methods while Jeremy disusses the history behind the hauntings.

Get your spook on this Saturday, September 6th! The tours are 90 minutes and held at 7:00, 8:45 and 10:30pm and are limited to 16 persons in the group. The cost is $20 per person. These tours will also be held every Friday night in October leading up to (but not including) Halloween!
