It’s only fitting that our first submission to the Town Spotlight section of our blog is our home base, the beautiful city of Portsmouth! Many consider Portsmouth to be the crown jewel of Seacoast New Hampshire. Set along the Piscataqua River, this charming waterfront city is a popular destination for visitors as well as residents. Portsmouth is an eclectic city, blending historic and modern elements at every turn.

Portsmouth is home to Strawbery Banke Museum, an outdoor history museum showcasing architecture, furnishings, clothing and other aspects of daily life in the 1600’s, 1700’s, 1800’s up through the mid 1950’s. There are also several historic buildings and museums such as John Paul Jones House, Wentworth-Coolidge State Historic Mansion and Warner House. Real Estate in Portsmouth
The real estate market in Portsmouth is always hot, hot, hot! Whether you’re looking for a condo in downtown Portsmouth, a starter home on the outskirts with easy commuter access or a historic home in the South End there is something for everyone in this idyllic city.
